What We Will Do

Welcome to our Traditional British Afternoon Tea Baking Class, where we will explore the delightful world of quintessential British treats perfect for an elegant afternoon tea.

 

Below is our menu featuring mixed berry jam, sweet and savory scones, seasonal citrus posset, clotted cream, chocolate fudge cake, and Victoria sponge cake:

 

Mixed Berry Jam: A luscious blend of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries cooked to perfection with just the right amount of sugar and lemon juice. This vibrant jam adds a burst of fruity goodness to your scones and pastries.

 

Sweet and Savoury Scones: Indulge in the buttery goodness of freshly baked scones, both sweet and savoury, traditional and experimental flavours.

 

Seasonal Citrus Posset: A creamy and citrusy delight from the 14th century, our seasonal citrus posset is the perfect palate cleanser between bites of rich pastries. Made with fresh cream, sugar, and tangy citrus juice, this silky dessert is sure to impress your guests with its elegant simplicity.

 

Clotted Cream: No British afternoon tea is complete without clotted cream, the crowning glory of any scone. Indulge in the velvety richness of this traditional spread, painstakingly crafted by gently heating heavy cream until a thick layer forms on top.

 

Chocolate Fudge Cake: Dive into decadence with our indulgent chocolate fudge cake. Moist, rich, and intensely chocolatey, this cake is a chocoholic's dream come true. 

 

Victoria Sponge Cake: Transport yourself to the quintessential English countryside with a baby Victoria sponge cake. Light and fluffy layers of vanilla sponge cake topped with fresh strawberries and clouds of whipped cream. Simple yet sophisticated, this timeless dessert is a true British classic.

 

Let's bake, indulge, and savor every delicious moment together! There will be lots of leftovers, and you will be able to take the extras home along with a mini jar of jam and an antique piece of crockery as a souvenir!
