What We Will Do

 Inspired by our founder Fulden's recent trips to Spain, this experience brings a taste of the Balearic Islands & Valencia and Granada to Stratford upon Avon. Fulden worked alongside local chefs to understand the intricacies of these tapas dishes and will share the secrets on how to get the authentic Spanish flavours.

Tapas has grown in popularity, as its small dishes work well when placed in the middle of the table for communal dining. At The Dough House we’re all about making delicious food that can be shared and enjoyed with family and friends, so tapas is a perfect match!

 

You will learn how to make an array of traditional tapas including:

 

Patatas bravas - With brava sauce and aioli (best version Denia style)

Chorizo A La Sidra - Chorizo with cider and citrus

Buñuelos De Bacalao - Salt cod fritters

Gambas Al Ajillo - Prawns with garlic and chilli 

Pimientos De Padron - Fried padron peppers

Pinchos - Spanis canapés with sobrasada sausage 

Ensalada De Hinojo - Fennel and orange salad

Tortilla Española - Spanish omelette

Bonus Dishes:

Coca - Spanish pizza with tomato base, manchego cheese and Iberico ham

Paella - Traditional Valencian Paella

 

You’ll also learn how to make CHURROS - the star of the experience!!!

 

Once the preparation and cooking are done, it’s time to sit down together to enjoy the smorgasbord of delicious tapas with a refreshing sangria, as the Spanish do. Make sure you leave room for dessert though, our crispy, golden churros are to die for!!!
