I booked this class as a birthday gift for my mom who just loves afternoon teas. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Fulden's kitchen is like a magical place where every bake turns out to be perfect. I was pleasantly surprised that we were making not only plain scones but also savoury scones with her own recipes that tasted AMAZING. I never knew scones could be that tasty. We booked on to her pasta making course as a surprise 21st birthday gift for my daughters and it was the most wonderful day for us all. Everything about our experience was exceptionally satisfying, from the moment we stepped inside the stunningly beautiful shop, to the warmest of welcomes from Fulden and her very able assistant Jo.
Fulden’s teaching style is first rate. She willingly shares her extensive knowledge of fine ingredients and flavours with a naturalness that is both passionate and engaging and she calmly guides you through each step and technique you have to undertake.

My 13-year-old daughter said it best, "That was the most amazing baking and cooking experience because it was intimate, and special." We navigated through the streets of Stratford-upon-Avon to discover Fulden's front door, and were welcomed by our most lovely hostess. She invited us in and we discovered the three other students that we were joining. Everyone was so warm and lovely. We shared stories while baking an amazing variety of scones, some of which had never occurred to us. While the scones baked, we snacked on a charcuterie and shared more stories. Finally tea was served and the scones came rolling out of the kitchen. We feasted so much that dinner wasn't even an option later! It was an incredible experience, not to be missed, and will be recommended by us to any of our friends who visit the area.

Most wonderful and lovely baking experience ever!!
Fulden is an amazing baker- she knows the science of baking and will teach you some great tips and tricks from how to easily make your own clotted cream to which flour is yields the softest, lightest, fluffiest scones ever!!! We got to make Eve you could imagine for a full proper Afternoon tea- it was truly a delicious meal!!! We shared bubbly and put on fancy hats. Honestly, I had the best time making and eating it all!! Thank you Fulden! You are beautiful inside and out! You have a great sense of how things should be! Anyone who attends her cooking and baking experiences is truly in very good hands!!!!

My boyfriend and I visited during a long weekend trip to Stratford upon Avon. We’ve always wanted to do a sourdough class and we are SO glad we chose Fulden’s class at the Dough House.
Fulden is a phenomenal teacher and such an inspiring woman. It was an honour to meet you and we’ll definitely be back to see you when we are next in the area!
The class was so informative; we learnt loads, baked four different loaves to take home and have techniques/skills that we can use in the future. She made the lessons easy to follow but fun and personal!

WOW! Beautiful setting and amazing food! Fulden was welcoming, engaging and full of stories. We throughly enjoyed our private pizza making class. We took the opportunity to have our pre-wedding photos taken during the class. The tomato sauce was divine, we’ve made it a few times since. I won’t forget the Tiramisu - best we’ve ever had! The Dough House has a mini shop with utensils and spices which is also available on their online shop. Thanks for a wonderful lunch Fulden, we will definitely be back. The Tapas class is very tempting.

Fulden was an amazing host and made you feel right at home and at ease learning a new skill. She expertly imparted her knowledge and heritage and her passion came across completely. All this time I thought making scones would be a very difficult process...not so! Fulden was a great host, instructor, and we felt very welcome in her place and sharing numerous stories about ourselves with her. Fulden was exceptionally welcoming, warm, and personable! She had no problem putting us all to work (in a nice way) in taking on different tasks related to making our scones and jam. I now know how to properly open a scone and that scones are NOT supposed to be rock hard (as found in the U.S.). And yes, I critiqued every time I enjoyed scones for tea after this experience! Honestly, I was a bit skeptical (being my first Airbnb Experience) but it was brilliant. Fulden has a great background in baking with some exceptional qualifications - her passion is evident and her caring for her guests is sincere!

I booked this baking class for my Wife and Daughter to have an experience together while visiting the UK. I knew they were going to have a good time but I didn't expect how much they enjoyed it. They raved on how the class was run by JO and Fulden, the food and baking techniques but mostly the people involved. My daughter would not stop talking about how much fun she had and how she is ready to bake again. By the way, the scones were very good, the best I have eaten. If you are on the fence about taking this class, don't be, it is worth it. We hope to visit again someday.
